Pretty Buttoner Co. is a small pin-back button business started in early 2010.
Inspired simply by the love of buttons, I began designing and selling buttons to people in my area. The niche I was looking to fill was to sell custom button designs in small batches, or as one-off designs, neither of which are offered by commercial button companies at reasonable prices.
In order to create a good foundation, I created a business plan and a break-even analysis to outweigh the costs of equipment and materials. Although it started small, sales grew to the hundreds, and I sold many buttons and magnets to people and organizations, whether it be in person, through companies, or online.
Through this I became fluent in Adobe Photoshop, familiar with Illustrator and created my first WordPress site, at
